University Credit Union Welcomes Mandy Austin as Vice President of Finance
ORONO, Maine (September 30, 2024) – University Credit Union is pleased to welcome Mandy Austin as Vice President of Finance.
In her new role, Austin will join UCU’s senior leadership team, where she will oversee the credit union’s financial operations and serve as the primary liaison between UCU and external auditors and regulatory authorities in the accounting and finance sectors.
In addition to her financial oversight responsibility, Austin will collaborate with other senior managers in developing strategic initiatives to further UCU’s growth and enhance member services. Her leadership will play a role in advancing UCU’s long-term financial objectives and ensuring the organization’s financial health and stability.

Austin joins UCU with over two decades of financial management experience, most recently serving as Director of Administration at Bison Transport USA, formerly Hartt Transportation Systems, Inc, where she oversaw financial operations across multiple locations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maine at Augusta.
