UCU Welcomes LuAnn Brown as Bangor Branch Manager
ORONO, Maine (August 21, 2024) – University Credit Union is pleased to announce LuAnn Brown as Branch Manager of the credit union’s 977 Union Street location in Bangor. Brown joins UCU from Changing Seasons Federal Credit Union, which has completed its merger with University Credit Union as previously announced.
Originally from Levant, Brown previously worked in personal insurance for eight years before joining Changing Seasons in June 2013 as a part-time teller. Brown earned promotions to different roles within the credit union during her tenure, including membership officer, loan officer, and eventually branch manager.
“We are thrilled LuAnn will be leading our Union Street location in Bangor, where she will be a familiar, friendly face to many of our new members and staff from Changing Seasons,” said Renee Ouellette, President and CEO of University Credit Union.
“I love how much we care for our members,” said LuAnn Brown. “My favorite part of the job is seeing a person grow financially and personally – in their job, in their home, and in their family. I look forward to seeing our members walk through the door and being a part of UCU.”
