Saco Grand Opening Recap

On Friday, July 25th, we officially opened our newest branch and loan operations center at 4 Community Drive (off of 1001 Portland Rd) in Saco on a beautiful, hot sunny July day. We were joined by many friends, colleagues, partners, and members old and new to check out the new UCU branch and enjoy some great weather, company, and even ice cream!
We want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of those who joined us for the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony, including the City of Saco, the Biddeford + Saco Chamber of Commerce + Industry, the Maine Credit Union League, CU Insurance Solutions, and many more!
We feel so welcomed to the Saco community already but this is just the start. As part of our event, we made donations to the following local organizations benefitting the Saco community: Saco Food Pantry, Saco Main Street, and Saco Bay Trails. We look forward to being much more than just your local credit union in Saco, but your friends, partners, and neighbors!

The Saco branch is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including UCU’s expanding fleet of Video Teller machines. The newly renovated space includes a welcoming lobby and dedicated areas for members to meet with UCU product specialists. Members may conduct a variety of transactions from this location, including real estate, consumer and member business loan closings, UCU Wealth Management meetings, financial education programming led by UCU’s Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors, and more.
