On Tuesday, July 14th, UCU welcomed our members, community partners and neighbors to our open house event at our newly relocated Portland branch at 1390 Congress St.

The event featured remarks from UCU President/CEO Renee Ouellette, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce. UCU employees from across the state, members, and community guests gathered to celebrate this exciting milestone.

“The support we’ve received from the community has been incredible, and we’re grateful for the warm welcome to our new neighborhood,” said Ouellette. “Our Portland team has been serving members from this new location since late June, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re excited to continue building relationships with both familiar and new faces in the community.”

Guests of the open house enjoyed tours of the new branch, catching up with familiar faces, ice cream from Kelly’s Ice Cream Truck, and a variety of giveaways. The event brought together longtime members, local businesses, community partners, and new neighbors, making it a memorable celebration of UCU’s continued commitment to Portland.
