How One Sandwich Produced Multiple Meals for Mainers Living with Food Insecurity

Through our collaboration with Harvest Moon Deli and Downeast Credit Union on our first ever sandwich (Pork Side of the Moon), we are excited to announce that we raised $1,016 which will directly benefit our ending hunger campaign!
Throughout the month of October, Harvest Moon graciously agreed to donate 5% of all sales of the Pork Side of the Moon sandwiches to our collaborative Ending Hunger Campaign with Downeast Credit Union.
We are elated with the outcome of this collaboration and so thankful for Harvest Moon's generosity. Their kindness towards our community does not go unnoticed. We're proud to work with some really great people in our community to help give back to Mainers in need.

UCU's Ending Hunger Campaign
UCU will match donations to our Ending Hunger Campaign for a total contribution up to $25,000 in 2025 with donations made online with UCU or in a UCU branch.
